A tad bit "OVERWHELMED"!

Art Unraveled is just a BREATH away......So excited! BUT......so much to do in such "little time"...I am in the process of making charms (which I've never done) and wondering if they are good enough???? I will take pictures and post. I'm also in the process of making a name tag!!!! PLUS.....I want to put together my BLANKISH JOURNAL to take to AU.

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.......

JOURNAL PAGES

This is (was) my very first SWAP. I did this with 17 other women, hosted by Stephanie Wright. Everyone got 17 different pages (we originally had to page 25 pages BACK & FRONT....50 pieces of art work in all)...Pages were 8 x 14 (to be folded to make a journal). I received FABULOUS pages from 17 other extremely creative women.

French Festival in Santa Barbara.......

Spent the day with Gabrielle, Zara (pic of them last year in Rome) and Rico. We had loads of fun.....It's so so wonderful to spend the day with your 19 year old. We laughed so much....and had such a wonderful day! It was Bastille Day.....in SB! It was a lovely festival with loads of entertainment and food! Beautiful weather....and excellent company...I'm going to try and post pics....

On another note......I need to get ready for AU. Collect my art supplies and try and send them before I get there. I'm also working on my charms and name tag? Not quite sure what to do yet. I also want to start taking pictures of my stuff and posting it on line. So much to do, I actually need to make a list (what a smart idea)! I feel a little overwhelmed and want to do it all, and at the same time be ORGANIZED! What a concept..I'LL PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER and go for it.

I am a "USC MOM".......OMG!

On Friday the 6th....I stepped onto the USC Campus with my daughter Gabrielle. She 100% got herself to this point.....We are here for ORIENTATION.....she made it! I am so proud of her. She is (we are) officially in the "USC FAMILY" as they refer to the students and their families. It was one of the most exciting days of my life and yet the scariest...It's 50,000 a year to attend USC....but with scholarships and financial aid.....I'm praying it will all work out. One day (s0on) Gabrielle will be starring in an Opera and I know it will all be worth it....(Gab, is in the middle..being silly "Marriage of Figero" in Rome.
So world watch out.........her she comes.............Gabrielle, I love you sooo much.

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS ANN BALDWIN?

I have sent out an email to all my "Ann Baldwin" group. I was looking forward to having a 2 day workshop with Ann, but due to 'SPAM", I can't contact her in England and am not sure what the heck to do...... But "I will survive" and make sure it happens by the end of the year!!!!

SHRINKY DINK!

I experimented with the "shrinking stuff"! Making my charms for Art Unravaled...Very cool...I have some interesting charms made up, I now need to perfect them and of coarse embellish!
I will try and post them as soon as I am done making them. I need to clean my studio...messy messy........

FOURTH OF JULY...MY VERY FIRST BLOG!!!!!!

My very first entry....Blog Heaven!! I have been reading other blogs...for at least a year...I guess today is the day...I begin!
So...hello bloggers!
This will be a chance for me to express myself, possibly take photos...post my art and jewelry!
Get some clarity on my life.....I journeled for a year or so everyday...That is when I was involved in the ARTIST'S WAY.......It would be great to start an online ARTIST'S WAY group...
I was with a group of amazing women that did the ARTIST'S WAY. We meet every week for the 12 chapters. It shifted my life.................Anyone want to start with me...let me know.
I will start my CHARM BRACLET SWAP 4 ART UNRAVELED today and will start to post my charms.
